Kevin Hart is not feeling himself today after having to go on his Instagram and explain to the world that he tore his abdomen. Of course, how he tore it is even more interesting.
First of all, how do you tear an abdomen while running? I have felt pain in my abdomen after running, but I knew that pain. It would go away. I didn’t rip anything. When Kevin Hart talks about tearing his abdomen, I’m wondering about internal bleeding and a guy needing stitches.

How bad is this, Kevin? Are you going to make it?
Get that abdomen stitched up, and maybe quit trying to race people. That’s a part of the problem right there. He wasn’t trying to race just anyone. He was trying to race Stevan Ridley! That’s right, the former NFL running back who used to play for the Patriots as well as the Jets, Falcons, and Steelers. Kevin Hart tried to race a guy who does a 4.66 40-yard dash and this is how that turned out.
There are three video clips of them racing. The last two actually show Kevin pulling up because that’s when it happens. Do you know why it happened? Because Kevin isn’t 20 years old anymore.
He’s in his 40s, and he can’t run like he used to. Now, this sounds like his wake-up call. He might have learned his lesson that there are things he can no longer do or should probably not do. Of course, he’s just like all of us fighting mortality. When faced with another challenge, he’ll most likely do it anyway because these are the kinds of lessons that are hardest to learn.
What I find funny are all the headlines saying he’s out for several weeks. Out of what? He doesn’t play for a team. He can relax and move some things around or Zoom important meetings from his home. I’m sure he’ll be fine. He might be walking funny for a while but he’ll make it.
