When you hear the trailer for what Chris Stapleton and Snoop Dogg have in store for us for the new Monday Night Football anthem, you’re going to go nuts. In the normal world where some people think we all live, these two celebrities would seem to have very little in common.

The psychological thriller that has the dark corners of the internet buzzing, Joker Joker Deuce is available on Amazon now! If you like mind-bending page-turners, you'll love the story about an internet stalker in a small college town who can find anyone anywhere at anytime and his victims have no idea he's coming because there is only one deadly connection between them...
But we don’t live in that normal world that normies dream of in their sleep. Chris Stapleton and Snoop Dogg are both musicians and that encompasses a good bit. That means that they are both creative. They are also entertainers, making the world a better place, actually bearable in the midst of all the ridiculousness that surrounds us on a daily. Plus, being musicians means they share a certain level of intellect that only a few people like them understand.
Besides, what’s wrong with adding a little bit of Country to some Rap? If you think about music like food, that might be a good flavor. In fact, it’s been done before. “Ghetto Cowboy” by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, “Cruise” by Flordia Georgia Line, and “The Git Up” by Blanco Brown are just a few examples of some major genre-bending hits that have been released over the years. Like dipping fries in mayo, Country and Rap do well together when it’s done right.
Of course, no one’s saying that’s what this is. Snoop Dogg is in the trailer, but he doesn’t reveal his part at all. He looks like a conductor who is in charge of the ensemble while Cindy Blackman Santana pounds away at the best part of the Phil Collins hit “In The Air Tonight.” Chris Stapleton doesn’t sound too Country when he belts out a few lines and jams on his guitar.
It doesn’t feel like it’s going to be your normal rendition of “In The Air Tonight.” Nor does it have the feel of Country meets Rap on stage at the Music Hall. No. In fact, it’s not even close. It’s going to be on fire at the Bank of America Stadium where the New Orleans Saints will be playing the Carolina Panthers because Chris Stapleton and Snoop Dogg have something special for us.
