We’re talking about a comedic genius and that can’t be denied. Dave Chappelle jokes about anything, he has offended audience members from all walks of life because he keeps it real, and they still come back to his shows because they know that hidden in his funny messages, he’s right. His most recent appearance on SNL shows how he can touch on any subject no matter how hot or triggering it is and still manage to get the laughs.
The “Immigrant Dad Talk Show” skit has all the elements to trigger Karen and Ken’s emotions. I feel that Ken is the right male counterpart to Karen, don’t you think so? He’s in Barbie’s friend zone and even if there is something between them, she still drops everything when G.I. Joe slides through in his Humvee.
Anyway, Dave Chappelle takes a hit from his infamous cigarette and the jokes start flying. Listen to the audience! That’s a whole bunch of Karen and Kens out there laughing their hearts out even though they’re the butt of the joke. The thing is, he’s fair. He even makes himself the butt of a joke.

L.A. Fires Skit
Even though Dave Chappelle is great at skits and starring in movies, it’s in his standup where he excels. He is best with his words and he knows how to run them together. By now, he has done and said just about everything that his fans know what to expect, and that is that they’ll never know what to expect.
In his monologue on SNL, he touched on the Diddy and the fires, Donald Trump and Jimmy Carter. He didn’t back down. He wasn’t apologetic for anything he said. But he delivered a message wrapped up in a whole lot of Dave Chappelle humor that everyone should be able to stand behind. Karens and Kens can’t even get mad at him.
