Pharma Commercials Kill With Jokes If They Weren’t Dead Serious

Pharma Commercials

Doesn’t it seem that the pharmaceutical companies should have it all figured out by now? They’ve only been doing their thing since the late 1800s. Other industries in business that long would have been pros by now but the pharma commercials hilariously let us know that they are not on top of things.

By surgically putting together a vast array of chemical agents, they can heal a headache and stop a cold. Those things, they have down pat. Acetaminophen is my go-to for any pain I have from my head to my aching legs when they’ve had a particularly long day. I’m glad those little white pills don’t come with outrageous side effects like butt sneezing or priapism.

It’s when the pharmaceutical companies are dealing with the bigger issues that the side effects come into play. It’s a shame that these companies with all their resources and data can’t nail a solution that fixes the problem without causing others. But that’s the nature of the business and our bodies can only take so much or they would have come up with a weight loss pill a long time ago that destroys fat in seconds with no side effects like a melting stomach or a burning sensation in both waste disposal areas.

So, it’s a good thing that pharma commercials let us know what we’re getting into. If I have erectile dysfunction and I buy a pill to take care of that, it’s good to know that if I take the pill, I might have to deal with dry mouth, diarrhea, wet mouth, constipation, hysterical deafness, unwelcomed night running, and dusty semen. All of those things sound absolutely horrid!
